Project ITAD attracted a lot of interest from other ITAD sector businesses but, in the end, the business sold to a PE-backed supplier of new IT product and systems, which saw an opportunity to enter a new, profitable market and cross sell to clients.
The vendor originally contacted John Knight via his LinkedIn account and appointed SBE on the strength of a Zoom meeting and what he saw in John’s posts and comments.
Although many ITAD businesses known to our Associate Chris Wilde and from our own research were targeted, the buyer eventually came via a buy-side advisory firm.
